Morning all, gosh I really am a bit slow at this blogging malarkey. The problem is my laptop has a bit of a virus (my fault as I couldn’t be bothered to update the virus protection) which means when I log on, it logs off. This has driven me mad for the last few months and I'm too stubborn to take it to the shop, insisting that I can fix it myself. This is from a girl who managed to delete Windows on the family computer when I was 12. Hmm…..

So…I'm sneaking a line or two in at work on my lunch breaks. Not that that sounds suspicious in anyway…

Everything has been running along marvellously the last month or so. The launch gig was a huge success with over 200 people coming along to dance and drink, even that guy off the bank advert was there….the “new customers only” fella, can't remember his name, but he did try and sneak in for free. Errr I don’t think so maate, we’re in a recession don’t you know!

Talking about recession, I have written a new song all about it called Factories.….but don’t worry, it’s not depressing. I'm having a whale of a time - just using it as an excuse to not get a proper job for a couple of years! Debuted the new song this weekend when we took a little trip down to Norfolk for a couple of gigs. Had a belter of a weekend, although the bus broke down (serves us right…we hired it from Dunston), Russell couldn’t wee, and the boys forgot my guitar. Was in a right radgy mood for a good twenty minutes when we got there, but managed to borrow one for the Saturday night for the supporting slots for the Vegas Fame Index EP Launch - and it was awesome! We played at the Kings Head in Cromer on the Friday night and the Queen Charlotte in Norwich on the Saturday.

Will be wanting to crack on with some more recordings this month especially with the full band stuff that we’re doing now. What I’ve got recorded at the moment isn’t quite reflecting what I’m doing with the live shows, so need to get it up to date. If anything though, I’ll get Factories recorded acoustic just to get it out there. So I’ll keep you all updated!

Apart from that, I’m frantically drawing up a plot in my head for Micky's ingenious idea for “Oasis The Musical”.
