Morning all,

I’ve woken up to a horrible thought....well a couple really. Had an awful ‘chasing’ dream last night, where Gazza was running after us (by ‘us’ I mean me and his beaten up wife Sheryl) wanting to do horrible things to us like sing ‘Fog on the Tyne’. Now I don’t know whether it is because I have been drinking too much, or listening to too much Lindisfarne, or maybe spending too much time in Gateshead, but I woke up in a cold sweat and suddenly a little scared of my own head. The second horrible thought this morning, and this will probably make you a little bit scared of my own head too, is that we’re getting some photos done....oh god...the p word...or f word....however you people spell it.

Looking in the mirror this morning, hair plastered to side of face because of above dream, a horrible botched fake tan job, panda eyes, slightly ginger locks....not really looking like Britney are we? So I gets me work clothes on...and shit that polyester uniform really isn’t doing anything for me either. Basically....get me absolutely spandangled and I’ll pose for anything because I don’t care and genuinely think I look good...but sober....nah I divn't think so.

So I started looking into the possibilities of airbrushing but the boys in the house suggested that many of the professionals probably wouldn’t have ‘enough tools for the job’. Vote of confidence there from the Murdoch Residence. Looks like I’m on cabbage soup diet for the next three days.....great for the figure...horrific for the flatulence.

On an absolute plus side (which is what I’ll be if I don’t pipe down with the Stella) ..I’m off to Chez Murdoch II next week for my birthday. Du Pain, Du Vin, Du Boursin, De Tracteur, FIN. Oui oui tres bien!

Just a wee bit of business: Liveoke (live band karaoke...ooooh the chuckles!) is at the Cumberland Arms this Friday 3rd April, £3 entry. And if you come to that you can get into a special RGR gig at the same venue on the Sunday 5th April for ABSOLUTELY FREE. I think we’re doing some kind of recording.

Also, if you would like to spare literally 2mins to register your support for The Soviets bid with the ‘Road to V’ competition, which may get them on stage at one of the biggest UK festivals this summer. The link is http://roadtov.com/artists/the-soviets/

Right, back to the grind. Oh and I really need to change my genre on Myspace...I'm still under ‘Regional Mexican’.

Much love

Hat
