Me again....but a whole year older!

Thought i'd give a little update on how things are looking out of my bloodshot, puffy, crows-feety eyes. It's not actually as bad as I thought it might as the digits start increasing on my ID...and my eyes certainly look better now, then they will tomorrow morning!

As John (the pro-juicer) has been on his Jollies for the last week I thought it might give a bit of time to relax. I should be so lucky lucky lucky.

Easter Weekend was bit manic, with 4 gigs for the RGR artists including an epic trip down to Landahn for The Soviets country-wide rampage that is the Single Promo campaign (which is out 24th May people..come on..buy it! The Waitress!). In true geordie style we dominated the Water Rats Venue (what a cool place...i want to play there!) RGR hosted a coach load of fans down which, when we got there, was challenged by a coachload of fans from Lincoln that were with the headlining act on the same bill. Needless to say, although Lincolnshire may be me home-shire, my heart is definitely North Bound. So I threw a couple of bottles of piss at them while eating a dirty kebab.

I didn't, but that would have been a cool cliche.

So now that the produce man is back, I'm in to record vox on Monday. He started mixing Black Shadow today, but i will be in the pub and not in the studio because.....it's my birfday!! But I do think that it's a nice way to finish off a year of being 23. This time last year I hadn't written Submarine, was a two stone heavier brunette, lived in a 7 bed squat, and wore polyester to work.

I've shouted when i should have whispered, cried when I should have laughed,  doubted when I should have believed, but I've been picked up when i've been down, pushed when i've been lazy, calmed when i've been angry, made grateful when i've been ungrateful, and loved uncompromisingly.  I love retrospect, what a year,

Lift your pints and shout cheers!
