....surprisingly fresh!

We're so close to the end of the beginning, or the beginning of the end...i haven't quite worked out which one yet. But either way, the start of the beginning of the middle bit.

I'm taking about the music, man. Or about politics, for some strange reason the planets have aligned! With politics - who knows. I voted for the first time, and felt proud of it. Im not going to declare who for, but we need change. And soon.

Somethings in the air, and it's going to drop land on your head like a big albatross poop. Which is good luck! I'd say, according to my sources, that you will be graced with the presence of this promised E.P by the end of the month. And so much to sort out before that! It's a whirlling dirvish! I hope that it will all come together and presented to you in a little brown paper package tied up with string, perfect and small and lovely, a whole product...of me!

It's a strange experience trying to make yourself a product. It's much easier to be objective when it's somebody else, but until it's done, i don't think i'll really understand fully what we've created. And that goes with the E.P too. There's been so much work put into it, from celestes, hobo tambourines, full string quartets, brass, timpanis, synths, Eternal style backing vocals...but to me they are still the little acoustic things i wrote way back when. And that's not a bad thing, it's an amazing experience to go through. But we all have to realise that you need to step back and look at things in a different light now and again. That Sunday morning light, that's all bright and fresh.

I can't wait for peoples reactions, feedback, comments - i think some will love it and hate it, but you cant please everyone. Just like politics.

And that is the gospel of Miss Murdoch.

Over and out
