Everything else? Well it's getting there. I've got no excuses from this point on. No apologies, no nonsense. Just cold hard facts. And that is.....bloody hell this is all hard work!!

We're getting a product together and in the cold harsh light of day, it's ruthless, it's shallow, it's not all about the music, it's how it looks, how it feels, and that's all quite hard to handle. I mean, it's not that i wasn't expecting  it, and hell,  I could be that power dressing, shoulder padded bouffant dog of a business woman and be ruthless and shallow *disclaimer..all characters are fictional* but it's not really where i'm at. Or where i'm from. This bit towards the end...this 'how it looks' part of it....yep...i havent got a clue.

I had a photoshoot at the beginning of this month with the fantabulous Garrod Kirkwood (www.garrodkirkwood.com). It was fascinating - i got my hair all done and make up all done by the lovely Kelly and Jenny from Savannah Salon in Newcastle...an absolute first for me! I'd tried my hardest at the fashion designer bit by buying clothes from a vintage store...although an EPIC fail from murdoch resulted in sewing the wrong parts of popper fastners on the shirt...you know one goes and one goes out so that they fasten ? Yeah well both of mine went out...so they don't fasten. Boring story but i got an A in GCSE textiles so i was gutted! Anyhoo, I can't thank the team enough for all their hard work that day, it was an absolute pleasure and the results are amazing. I will get them up on the website as soon as we most possibly can.

The last few months has been very strange and i've changed my mind a hundred times, but the only time i really have been sure on what's right has been in the studio. And I can't thank John Elliott enough. As we finished the final mixes on Friday..well...it was emotional! And when do we get to start on the next one???

But now they're off to get mastered....the road is loooonngggg.....and winding......and errr..yellow??
