Hattie is ecstatic to announce that the band have been picked from over 300 submissions to play the Evolution Emerging festival on the 27th May, alongside 24 other new and emergings north east artists and djs. This is the night before the main Evolution Festival, and is held across 6 venues, all free entry.

The band will be playing at the Tanners, alongside the wonderful Athletes In Paris who they will also be playing with at The Sage on Monday 21st March.

Hattie and her band took the semi-finals of this regional competition by storm and fought their way into a well deserved place in the finals.

The Grand Finale will be held on the 29th March 2011 at The Cluny - the overall top band takes a slot at huge Evolution competition. Event details on events page.

Just a quick note - this event will be happening tomorrow, March 8th at LYH (top of Northumberland Street, Newcastle).

The first gig as a band and Hattie has stormed through into the semi-finals of the north east unsigned battle of the bands. A great review as well from the official press release:
